Kind of hard to like this game when it doesn't save progress..

Loved it, played till the end and maxed everything, great stuff :)

Cool

fun

beat the game, it's nice, but a bit tedious, do you plan to add more to it, following the ending?

(+1)

This game was fun to play! But the shovel is way too op.. i just farmed up all enough stone while breaking the floor to reach max everything just while I only reached stone skin. Otherwise it brought me some joy. Thank you^^

(+2)

not bad! i beat the whole thing and had fun. with some balancing and more variation would be a lot more fun. looking forward to full project.

Holy Crap this game is a masterpiece! I would love to see more of this in the future.

Underground Highway Gang!!! Shout out

(-1)

I mean... it's ok

Didn't click to me. Definitely has potential but I feel the start really tedious: didn't saw any upgrade to mine faster, a lot of time is spent just walking to the point you have reached.

Great quality of work overall

Finally beat the game, it could really use some checkpoints or such.

At some point you spent 90% of your time jsut running back and forth.
better have (buyable?) checkpoint at certain intervals.

Also the "get oxygen when digging" thing is way more useful than it sounds. Like I tohught this was like in most idle games where it costs tons of oney and gives you a shi tty 1% chance of getting oxygen when digging.

but after like the second or so upgrade of it, in 5 rocks about 3-4 had oxygen.
giving you like 10 oxygen every time, you can basically survive almost infinitely if you jsut keep digging.

sure, this is basically the endpoint and the gas mask is jsut around the corner.

 Also for everyonein general:
at the start, you can jsut have the rats run into holes to kill them (get like 3 ore even from their death).
later on, you have to shoot things by right clicking.
the enemy shooters cant be killed any other way anyways, the running rats at some point jsut charge you nonstop, so digging holes aint viable anymore.

and yeah, the baloon guys can be shot to death (5 hits to kill one).
but DONT aim at them, you will miss them at anything than a close distance.
dontaim at where they currently are but where they will be.
like, the kind of move in a circle while charging at you.
so aim where they will likely move next.
or jsut stand still till they are right in front of you, sjoot and then avoid them at last second.

yeah, even doing the movmeent prediction thing i miss every third or more shot.
but at least later on, you dont need to coutn your bullets anymore, so it doesn matter.
there will always be 2-3 enemies at once to defeat anyways, so you dont even have time to do big strategies.
just shoot and kill!

and yeah, good game  said before.
jsut put some sort of checkpooints somewhere.
just a safe space where (for whatever reason) you can stand still in that spot and recharge your oxygen.
maybe even have a sort of teleporter there that can be activated by using some fixed amount of ore.
so as you progress you activate teleporters further and further avoid that give you some way to quick travel between shop at start and where you left.

dont put the checkpoints too frequently.
but , my random guess, for example put teleporters where the shooter enemies start, one where the baloon guys start.
and perhaps one right in the middle of that distance.

that should take the travel time, where you run past the first "noob" areasover and over, way down.

of course, this makes the oxygen limit thing a bit obsolete or at least needs modification.

you'll figure soemthing out ;-)

and of course I need to see that sequel.
including the big betrayal where the shop mouse obviously knew beforehand what was coming but sent you in as if everything was unknown yet...

You can kill the shooting enemies by digging a hole under them.  You don't actually *have* to shoot until the balloon guys show up.  Do you know what happens when you run out of oxygen?  I didn't end up finding out ^^; Do you lose your rocks/upgrades?

I didnt find out either.
By some miracle, I always madeit back.
Sometimes just literally a second or so away from dying :-)

You start losing rocks, at an increasing rate! I didn't find out what happens when the rocks end though

Great game, just one problem...

IT KEEPS CRASHING ON THE LOADING SCREEN FOR NO FRICKIN REASON AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Edit: oh nvm it works now

I have only 1 question, how do you destroy those balloon rats?? they are so annoying

Dude, like, didn't you get the shovel upgrade before encountering them? Just rightclick

That was awesome! The music and atmospheric sounds were very fitting, and the gameplay was entertaining, the upgrades giving a nice sense of progress, while the enemies spiced things up enough to keep it interesting! Though the tunnel did start to get very long at the end, a sprint speed upgrade would've helped a lot with that. The base movement being upgraded was good, but it still took a while of just sprinting mindlessly to get to the end and back c':

Oh and before I grabbed the last thing I went back to read the oxygen saga, worth every second of sprinting, RIP Planty </3

And what an ending, that was pretty intense! Colour me very intrigued ðŸ‘€

Hey Snoom!! Thank you very much for playing the game and leaving feedback. I hope to have time and continue with the game soon, I have some redesign advance but not too much time. Glad you enjoyed the demo :)

is it endless?

No, it has an end!

(+1)

finish the game with 800 rocks didn't know gas mask gonna end it

(+1)

i enjoyed playing this game, hoping you'll add more levels, items, and upgrades.

(+2)

Great game!!!! \o/

Is there seriously no mute option? wow

Sorry! We haven’t added pause or options in this version because it’s an early demo. We’ll add it in the future :)

Glad to hear it. Thanks.

(+2)

I always just right click the chrome tab and mute it lol

That's a great tip, thank you.

Cool game. Please add an option to mine, shovel with just one click instead of having to hold down the mouse button. Would make it much more relaxing.

Wow, this is a very great game, can't wait for the coming soon stuff. I never died once, and this game really made me fear falling into a hole. Judging by the comments, it only removes oxygen, and the ending made me jump, because the sudden popup saying "The mine is collapsing!" and the spikey music really put fear into me. Thank god I made a straight run from there to the shop.

(+2)

ur scared of falling into a hole? you just teleport back up if you fall into a hole

short fun game. I really liked it and it has a lot of potential. Can't wait for the full version!

Suggestions:

Def make it a lot harder I think it would be more exciting. Falling into a hole should have bigger consequences. Perhaps make it do % oxygen damage, like 10%.

Maybe make rock depletion faster after losing all oxygen. From the end to the beginning I only lost 120 of my 600 rocks. Enemies should give less rocks, right now its way too much. Also I feel like breaking rocks to give back oxygen is too frequent.

Also the light should do something other than give vision I think since i kept it level 1 for the entire demo

Good game and concept, however, I broke the game with upgrades.  It was still really fun though.

Adictivo como el solo. Una pasada!.

(+1)

this is a very good game but *cough* *cough* oxygen is spelt wrongly in the description its oxygen not oxigen

Left handed. Need arrow keys for movement... Arrow keys literally mean 'direction'.

Hi, Darvious! I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, I’ve just updated the game with arrow keys control. Hope you enjoy the game :)

Cool, nice game! Looking forward to more :)

(+3)

Never died so I never experienced the roguelite elements, but I managed to beat the whole game in under an hour. Pretty enjoyable experience! Will be looking forward to the continuation.

(+2)

I'm amazed, this is reeeally well made!

(+2)

The music loop really makes this a better experience.

(+5)(-2)

A well-polished game, but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. A significant amount of the time in this game is spent on walking to and fro, which just isn't very fun. I couldn't be bothered to continue after a half hour of playing.

(+5)(-1)

Beat the demo and wanted more so it must be good.

(+3)

We really enjoyed this game! Congratulations!

The art style is pretty good, the music is soothing, difficulty wise is not difficult at all and once you have certain upgrades it becomes a walk in the park!

The twist at the end really made us thirsty for more!

A little bug we have to write about is that the diggers can sometimes fly over the empty tiles while in dig mode.
