I missed playing this for Ludum Dare, but found it searching for clicker games. This was HYSTERICAL!!!! I was so glad to upgrade my mouse to "super fast speed" or whatever. And then omg the whole GAME eventually hit that speed! I was using a gnome as a shield and a shovel!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Really fun, hilarious game, well done. Especially for Ludum Dare!
I love the idea, but when I purchase the first upgrade, no other upgrades become available, ever. I got up to a hundred gnomes with only the "move things easier" upgrade. Am I doing something wrong?
Well I have your attention, alt tabbing the game while the upgrade screen is open really messes with it? It seems like by holding both alt and tab while holding an upgrade i can like, click and drag to navigate the screen-- but then i can't click and drag to navigate it otherwise? Ultimately makes me unable to buy upgrades toward the top of the screen, too.
Nah, prevents me from buying the top row of upgrades. I was able to complete the game by just never alt tabbing while the store was open, though. It was great fun! I'd say "I'd play a whole game like this!" but I know that'd crash my entire computer from the amount of physics objects.
I never had an incremental game punish me this hard when buying an upgrade like the gnome trampoline did on this. it made a huuuuge mess and made stuff less manageable.
Simple game. Take Gnome, put it in the well. Take gold, put it in the pot.
Had fun playing the game. It's not too long, nor to short. The graphics are pleasing to look at (i liked the background the most).
General gameplay is simple to understand. The music is chill. I have to agree with other comments, that the Screen shake is quite a lot, but it didn't bother me personally (gave the game more charm).

Cursor constantly moves to the right. Makes precision difficult and reading impossible.
Also, the downloadable version doesn't work.

You should be able to do zoom with the mouse wheel, does that work for buying all the upgrades?

After the ending of the game, the treasures come out of the well so quickly that I had a hard time shoving gnomes down. That cracked me up.
This game performed surprisingly well on my crummy laptop!! Even with a gazillion treasures and a billion gnomes on screen. So much fun.
